On Wed. November 20th from noon to 2PM the Yacht Club will hold a small veterans’ event in the lounge honoring WW II veteran James Maney, Sr. Residents of the Chelsea Soldiers Home will attend along with some members of the Maney Family. The club will honor Mr. Maney for his work as a machinist in the Navy designing a device that allowed life rafts to open upon impact with the ocean saving many lives.
