Thank you to all who attended and supported the very successful 2013 Blessing of the Fleet. Fr. Cuma from St. Anthony’s parish blessed the entire fleet. He, as well, recognized the passing of social member Charlie Fisher whose company was enjoyed by so many members.

Special thanks to Vice Commodore Mike Jamgochian for organizing the event in such an efficient way serving nearly 170 people in record time. What a great achievement! The Consoli’s and their wonderful staff outdid themselves in providing a great BBQ that was appreciated by all; without question the very best, well prepared meal that the club has seen in many years. All this was accomplished while Jay was hospitalized: GET WELL JAY.

Thanks again to all who helped; members who cleaned up the grounds, floats and building, especially Carmen Zingariello who provided grills and tents along with his spirited humor and to Jay Bolton for donating a new grill to the club.

Finally, thanks to the POPYC “CREW” for their continued support in all things Yacht Club.

Thanks Everyone, Charlie
